Promoted by the SGMAP, the State Modernisation School is an interministerial school set up in 2011 to provide support for the leading players in France’s government modernisation.
The State Modernisation School is intended to provide assistance and practical support for senior civil servants who are in charge of modernisation projects. This specific operational support is based on the actual projects and situations of the participants.
Training and information-sharing
Through pooling of experience, the State Modernisation School helps to identify best managerial practice together with the most appropriate tools and methods to ensure the success of reforms.

- Public leadership forums
Designed for senior managers, these forums allow peer-to-peer exchange on ways of applying change management techniques.
- Support for change managers
Designed for project leaders and change project promoters, support and training is provided with a focus on project/change management skills development.
